I found this crab as is, no prep required! It has really beautiful, dark coloring as well as some bryozoa growing on it which adds to its character.
It's one of the smaller Tumidocarcinus giganteus specimens I have collected. The top of the carapace has cracked and resembles a mosaic but otherwise it is a very complete fossil.
Photogrammetry was used to create the 3D model.
